Claudia Barral Magaz is a Spanish film and advertising director whose work is shaped by her background in Fine Arts.

She studied art between Madrid and Paris before specializing in cinematography.
Her first short film, “__ /__ /__”, received the Silver Award for Best New Talent in Direction at the Ciclope Festival in 2019 and was selected for Vimeo’s Best of the Year and the New Creators Showcase at Cannes Lions. In 2023, Claudia studied acting direction at EICTV in Cuba while developing her second fiction project, “Fuiste París”, which later premiered at the 69th Seminci. Her work across fiction and advertising has continued to receive recognition both internationally and in Spain. “The Period Uniform” has recently been awarded at Cannes Lions, the D&AD Awards and the Clio Awards, among others. Her work has also been recognized nationally at festivals including CdeC, El Sol and the LAUS Awards.
